The founding partner of Western Hills Partners, Paul Tadashi Inouye draws on more than three decades of investment banking experience to help Software, Services and Internet technology companies position themselves for mergers & acquisitions transactions. Based in Portola Valley, California, Paul Tadashi Inouye and his colleagues create financial models, develop marketing materials, and structure and negotiate core deal terms for clients.
Mr. Inouye holds a Master in Business Administration in finance from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in political economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Over the course of his finance and investment banking career, he has served as a managing director of the Software and Internet groups at Lehman Brothers and Piper Jaffray. He also spent several years as a principal with Morgan Stanley.
Apart from his responsibilities with Western Hills Partners, Mr. Inouye is an avid runner who has completed six half marathons, 12 full marathons, and various Ironman competitions. Additionally, he competed in three 100-kilometer bike races. His hobbies include reading biographies of historical figures such as Ulysses S. Grant and playing fantasy footbal.
